Electronic Mail (E-mail) – The
exchange of private messages through networks, Intranet and Internets.
Messages are generally encoded in ASCII text but can also carry
non-text files as attachments.
Ethernet – Describes a technology used in LANs (Local Area
Networks). It encompasses hardware and communication protocols and
standards used in a network. Ethernet LANs generally use coaxial
cables, twisted pair wires or fibre optics. They can also use newer
wireless technology to create wireless networks.
Email address – An electronic mail address assigned or
created by an ISP or user, which uniquely identifies a user. Example:

Export – The conversion of data from the format
used in the current application to a different format used
in another application. For example, data can be exported from a
spreadsheet program into a text file that can later be read by a
word processing application.
